POSTPONED: Omo Naija Magazine’s Winter 2010 Holiday Issue Launching Gala

On December 19, 2009 Omo Naija Magazine and 11:11 Entertainment will be having a red carpet gala, celebrating the launching of Omo Naija Magazine’s Winter 2010 Holiday Issue. The event will be held at Stepping Out Studios, located on 37 West 26 Street (9th Floor) between 6th Avenue and Broadway. Doors open at 8pm.

The event will be hosted by actress Martha Ighodaro who was recently in Cadillac Records, Notorious and the Broadway show Plantanos and Collard Greens. The event will honor Hino Ehikhamenor (aka Hollywood Hino), as “The Face of Omo Naija” for his recent success in boxing and entertainment. Hollywood Hino was recently on “The Contender: Season 4”, where he continued on all the way to the finale. Omo Naija Magazine will also honor Eron Oronsaye, the former Ms. Nigerian Independence 2008-2009, as the Saving Ourselves (S.O.S) Scholarship Award recipient. S.O.S. is a project that was started to encourage young Nigerians to be of service to the Nigerian community. Eron Orosaye is being honored with a $1,000 Scholarship Award for her Project Heal Nigeria Initiative. The night will also include a fashion show, a Fela tribute, and is followed by an after party.
